About Peter Collins

For me, my profession is much more than just a job or career – it's a true calling. I have pursued it because I genuinely enjoy helping people.
Throughout my life, people have always found me approachable and easy to talk to, which has allowed me to offer support and understanding in a way that helps individuals move forward, even when they feel hopeless. The foundation of helping others starts with being open and approachable, but to offer deeper support, it is essential to have the right tools and knowledge.
Having witnessed first-hand the transformative power of counselling and hypnotherapy, I decided to train in both fields. I earned my Diploma in Counselling in 2008 and later pursued Hypnotherapy, earning qualifications in 2018. I am a fully qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and have expanded my expertise through additional training in Relationship Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mediation.
I also trained at the Surrey Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy, where I achieved both the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma with Distinction and the Clinical NLP Practitioner Diploma. I am a certified and practicing hypnotherapist, accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council, and a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register.
My approach is personalised to each individual, drawing on a variety of effective techniques to gently address the underlying causes of your challenges.
